Overview

A DM6 Elm screen consists of topics and associations.

Topics appear as rectangles with text in it. It can be a single word or an entire article with several paragraphs, multi-level headings, and images. You can make use of bold, italic, and insert lists. DM6 Elm uses Markdown for editing and displaying text. Have a look to the Markdown Guide.

An associations is a connection between 2 topics, appearing as a line. Use associations to represent meaningful relationships. Associations facilitates both, an illustration-like expressive display, and associative browsing.

Try out

No installation required. No account required. You can use DM6 Elm by visiting
https://dmx-systems.github.io/dm6-elm-demo/

You'll see a mostly empty page. Start creating topics by the plus-button in the bottom/left corner. You can nest topics by dropping them on each other. Create associations (lines) between topics by click-and-hold and wait a short moment before dragging.

The content you create is stored locally in your browser. When you revisit that link later on, your content will be available. To transfer your content to another browser, use DM6 Elm's import/export feature (see top/left menu).
